By reducing the surface tension of the water, Aqua Pool Guard prevents many surface-dwelling insects from remaining afloat. Once they lose the ability to stay on the surface, they sink beneath the water where they can be filtered or vacuumed away.

Effective against common pool pests such as backswimmers, water boatmen, and mosquitoes, Aqua Pool Guard uses advanced surfactant technology to address floating insect problems without affecting water clarity or balance.

Because it contains no harsh oxidizers or sanitizers, Aqua Pool Guard is compatible with chlorine, bromine, saltwater, ozone, mineral, and biguanide pool systems. The formula is pH neutral and phosphate-free, making it suitable for routine use without requiring additional water chemistry adjustments.

Initial Treatment

Apply every 3 days for the first 2 weeks.

Maintenance

After the initial treatment period, apply once per week. During periods of heavy pool use or increased insect activity, an additional maintenance treatment may be beneficial.
